The Teaching and Learning department provides classroom teachers with support in the areas of instructional strategies, data management, resource selection, and professional development on curriculum implementation. The department ensures grade level curriculum and resources for all students, while also interpreting and integrating state and federal guideline changes that affect schools.  Some of the other areas that department supports is the implementation of a vibrant Pre-K program whose focus is school-readiness; selection and implementation of early grades literacy curriculum that promotes reading readiness across all schools; implementation and integration of traditional academic skills into a project-based learning environment to assist students in becoming College and Career Ready;  and implementation of  CTE Courses and Programs of Study which gives our students practical applications of skills that prepare them for life after graduation.
